Who is Shiva? Is her merely the blue-skinned God? The Destroyer? The Lord of Dance and Yoga? This class dives into the deepest mysteries of Shiva – both the form and the formless, to develeop a deep understanding of this cosmic force visa the Kashmiri Shaivism teachings of the Lord. We study the trident symbol and yantra of Parama Shiva, representing the triadic energies of the supreme goddess Parā, Parā-aparā and Aparā śakti. We will deep dive into Shakti —the door to Shiva in the Kashmir Shaivism or Trika Shaivism, a nondualist Hindu tradition of Shaiva-Shakta Tantra which originated in Kashmir sometime after 850 CE. We will study and understand how to open the great cosmic doors to the Cosmic Lord Shiva this Mahashivratri, on 8th March.
